Pastor Andrew Miller - 503.705.0641
Hey, what's up? I graduated from
Multnomah Bible College in May of 2004 and started working here at LHBC (Living Hope Baptist Church) in February of
2005. As well as working at the church, I also work at the GAP as a part-time sales associate, and at
Reynolds High School as the assistant water polo and swim coach. When I am not working I enjoy playing golf,
going fishing, playing disc golf, and watching movies-as long as they are not too long. I grew up in Gresham,
Oregon. I went to Reynolds High School and participated on four different sports teams: track, cross-country,
water polo, and swimming.
My favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do you not know that
in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”(NIV). I
love that it has a sports analogy for one, but more than that. I love how it talks about doing things to the
absolute best. It says that what we do, we should do to the best. And the thing that it is talking about is
living for Christ. This verse, and the verse that follows are a great way of telling us that we need to live
for Christ, and in doing so, we should do it as best we possibly can!
